Hill House Stores Delivery Information

It is our aim to keep the delivery cost at a minimum

We do not want delivery costs to be restrictive so please call us to negotiate charges and we will do our best to keep costs down

The following is a guideline of the typical costs incurred but is not exhaustive or binding

Delivery cost will be agreed with and charged to the customer before shipping the items

Postage Items

This would refer to Gift Vouchers and are charged at current national postage rates - currently 55 cents

Parcel Charge

This charge relates to any items that will fit in an A3 postbag

Items can be posted within the 32 Counties of Ireland

Total Cost EUR 6.50

Courier Charge

This charge relates to items up to 25kg in weight

Items can be delivered to the 32 counties in Ireland

The charge is typically between EUR 7.50 and EUR 12.00

Own Van Delivery

This charge relates to any orders over 25kg in weight or OUTSIZED ITEMS

The maximum charge will be calculated at EUR 1.50 per mile from our premises to your home

We are located 10 miles West of Mullingar, Co Westmeath - customers can calculate the cost from this point

We will be estimating the mileage from A to B so it may be nesseccary to charge more once the actual mileage is calculated

If we can incorporate your order with other orders on the route this charge will reduce

We will agree this charge with you at the time of placing the order.

It is our aim to service the 32 counties of Ireland but we may not be able to reach remote areas

Not for Delivery items

These are large or bulky items that are not suitable for delivery through the normal channels

They are on the website for information purposes and are available to be picked up by callers to the shop

Delivery of these items can be arranged with the customer once costs have been agreed

Delivery Terms & Conditions

We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day or time

In the case of our OWN VAN delivery, customers will be advised in advance of the delivery date & aprox time

Customers must ensure that someone is available to take and sign for the order

We cannot give specific dates or time for Courier or Parcel deliveries

Deliveries must be checked by the customers at the time of receipt and any discrepancies written on delivery docket

All discrepancies must be notified to Hill House Stores within 24 hours of delivery

We aim to deliver all items within 7 days of an order being confirmed and paid for, assuming all products are available in store.

Customers will be advised of any undue delay

The appearance of In Stock on an item is not a guarantee that it will be in store if you visit

If an item is sold out we will do our best to bring it back in stock as soon as possible
